Marks and Spencer are one of the UK's most respected retailers with a heritage stretching back to 1884. Today they operate from over 840 locations throughout the world and are presently enjoying a period of growth. Initially we were contacted to provide consultancy on the design and layout of the simply food convenience format; a model that had been entirely designed in-house. The success of Simply Food eventually led to a similar conversion of the existing large format Food Halls. This latter project stretched internal resource and we were called back to provide permanent assistance in the shape of experience Store Planners who could project manage a series of "retail park" new store development projects.
